The latter being a glycine betaine ester, APPYCLEAN 6781F is a multifunctional surfactant combining foaming, cleaning and biocide boosting properties and is readily biodegradable. APPYCLEAN 6781F is considered as a biocide booster displaying light antimicrobial action on a wide range of bacteria.
Indeed, used as a surfactant, it works in synergy with common preservatives, boosting their performance and allowing reduction of biocide/preservative amount in the formulation.
